I remember growing up and going over to my aunt’s house and looking forward to playing with her parakeet. I remember the bird being bright yellow. When I got a little older she got a second bird, and then a third, but that’s as far as it went.
For the woman in the video below though, a couple of pet birds soon turned into a bird obsession, which then became a bird disaster!
The woman lived with her elderly mom in a nice white apartment in Vienna, Austria, and decided to get a few birds as pets.
She got eight parakeets. To start.
But before long, she realized she couldn’t control them.
Those eight parakeets led to more birds, and those birds led to more, and those to more, and so on and so forth.
Soon, incredibly, she found herself living with a whopping 323 birds!
That’s a lot of bird droppings to deal with!
Of course, you can imagine that having 323 birds flying around in an apartment doesn’t make for an ideal situation — the woman and her mom were on the verge of being evicted.
So she decided to call Gut Aiderbichl, a group of social workers who specialize in animal rescues in Austria.
Check out what happens when they arrive to her apartment in the video below, and please SHARE it on Facebook!
