A 32-year-old woman named Elizabeth Lauren Cutshaw was out celebrating her birthday — but her night of fun took a turn for the worse.

The real estate agent from South Carolina was pulled over in the early hours of the morning. According to the police report, she allegedly ignored a stop sign, sped through an intersection, and drove more than double the speed limit. She also failed a sobriety test, according to the report, and admitted to having two glasses of wine earlier that night.

The dashcam recorded the following encounter after Elizabeth was handcuffed outside the squad car. She broke down sobbing, begging the officer not to take her to jail. She offered a string of reasons why it was no place for her — like the fact she didn’t have a criminal record, had graduated with honors from a “really good” university, and was a former cheerleader.

But this story is going viral because of one reason in particular:

“I’m a pretty girl,” Elizabeth said to the cop. “Please, don’t make me go.”

The cop, however, refused to hear it. Back at the police station, Elizabeth took her demands a step further and called herself a “very clean, thoroughbred, white girl.”

One of the officers asked her what that even meant. “You’re a cop. You should know what that means,” she allegedly replied.
