There are certain days during the week, or the weekend, where you find yourself really needing a glass of wine.

Whether it’s the result of a bad day at work, a stressful day around the house, or simply the desire to relax and unwind with loved ones — you’ll need a corkscrew if you want to get to the good stuff.

But if you somehow ever find yourself without one, apparently there’s a new life hack that might get you that glass anyway.

In the video below, a man reveals how you can make your own homemade corkscrew using just a fork and a real screw.

First, he twists the screw into the top of the bottle. Then he grabs it with a rag and twists some more to make sure that it’s secure inside the cork.

After this, he grabs a fork and — you might be a little hesitant to try this at home — he actually just pulls it right out. He treats the screw as if it is a nail in the wall that needs to pulled out with the back of a hammer!

Clearly, this clever trick worked for him. But do you think you’d be able to make this work at home without breaking anything?

Let us know in the comments if you’d try this great wine bottle trick!
