Viewer Tells Weatherman To Shave, So The Reporter Goes On Camera And Tells Him To ‘Shove It’

As someone in the public eye, WGN weatherman Paul Konrad probably gets his fair share of comments from viewers who watch his weather reports. Surely, he knows how to take some of the comments and criticism with a grain of salt.

But it was one viewer’s comment about his beard that got under his skin — so much so that he went on a rant on live TV!

The viewer first criticized the weatherman’s reports, saying that he was stating obvious facts about the weather there. Paul retorted that he was simply doing his job.

But it was the viewer’s last sentence that sent him off: He had the audacity to tell him that his beard made him look old and that he should shave it off!

Paul wasn’t going to take this lightly. He went on air to defend his looks, saying he is happy with who he is and how he looks, and that at 52 years old, he doesn’t need to look like a 30-year-old man.

He took it a step further and told the viewer live on air to “shove it” and to watch another channel if he wasn’t happy!

Of course, we’re sure Paul intended for this to be a lighthearted retort: His colleagues burst out laughing in the middle of his rant and couldn’t stop giggling until it was over.

Please SHARE if you agree with Paul, and if you think he looks good — with or without the beard!
