Transform An Ordinary Watermelon Into A Fruit-Filled Shark For Your Next Summer Barbecue

by Jess Catcher
Jess grew up in Oklahoma before moving to New York to become a writer. She has a cat named Agnes.

It’s not really summer until you’ve had a scrumptious watermelon treat, is it? The awesome idea below is not only a delicious way to enjoy the flavor, but get creative with the presentation, too!

Of course, you can’t really go wrong with any recipe that includes watermelon — even if it’s for your dog. Still, I think you’ll agree that the way the woman carves her melon up in the video below is pretty amazing.

Instead of simply slicing it up into traditional wedges, she uses clever tricks to transform it into a toothy shark that’s filled with yummy fruit salad. And the best part? It’s so dang easy to do, you could even let your kids or grandkids help you out!

I especially love how she uses a cookie cutter to add more sea creatures into the mix. This would be the perfect addition to any summer get-together or a party celebrating the annual Shark Week events.

Heck, you can even whip this up to surprise your family with a festive and refreshing dessert after dinner. I am sure you’ll be greeted with a ton of smiling faces in return.

The only “special” tool you’ll need is a melon baller, but you can find those super cheap at most stores.

Take a look to see how to transform an ordinary watermelon into your own fierce-shark fruit salad.

And don’t forget to SHARE the fun idea with your friends on Facebook!
