Fisherman Scoops Drowning Puppy Out Of Water And Uses Water Bottle As A CPR Mask To Revive Him

Minh Lê was fishing in Vietnam when he saw something floating in the water: a helpless puppy!

He immediately knew the drowning puppy needed help, so he scooped up the dog and brought him to shore.  The lifeless dog’s chances of survival looked grim, but the fisherman was determined to save him.

He begins rubbing the puppy’s belly and pressing on his stomach to get the water out of his lungs. He also presses on the puppy’s chest, as you would do CPR on a human. When those didn’t work, he gently pressed his pointer finger into the dog’s mouth. The dog began to move a little, and the fisherman didn’t give up.

Using a cut water bottle, he made a makeshift CPR mask. He put the open bottom over the dog’s mouth with his mouth on the other end and began distributing oxygen into the puppy’s mouth.

He then used a piece of cloth with the water bottle and tried again.

You can hear the puppy start making noises after he tries again. Once he removes the water bottle, the dog’s chest slowly starts to rise and fall! After Minh Lê wraps him in a towel to dry him off, the dog starts walking on his own.

“He’s now recovered and is very healthy,” the fisherman said.
