Two men who narrowly escaped death are crediting the “voice of God” with saving their lives.

WJW Cleveland reports that Jordan Cole and Kenneth Bryant were among a group of men traveling from Montana to Philadelphia for a pastor’s conference on November 12.

Kenneth and Jordan were transporting a MudMan food truck as part of a nonprofit that raises money on behalf of Potter’s Field Ministries by selling burgers. The charitable organization provides food and other resources for needy communities around the world.

The men were on the Ohio Turnpike when the food truck broke down, and Jordan and Kenneth opted to stay behind with the truck while the rest of the group took another van to find the repair part they needed to continue on.

“[Jordan] was in the cab of the truck and I was in the back,” Kenneth told WJW. “I was using a generator in the back to charge our cellphones.”

Kenneth recalls how he suddenly was hit with a “vivid” sort of vision that convinced him the truck was about to be hit. He jumped out of the broken-down truck after grabbing his phone. Incredibly, Jordan had a similar experience of seemingly divine intervention at the same exact time. He recalled hearing a voice in the truck telling him to get out of it immediately. When he looked up after hearing the voice, he saw a semi-truck swerving toward them.

Authorities said that the two would have almost definitely been killed had they been inside the food truck when the semi crashed into it.

“God kept us safe, God kept us alive,” Kenneth said. “We’ve come to the conclusion that it was Jesus. He allowed this to happen for me to be able to share this story… for people to know that our Heavenly Father is mindful of us.”
