I love tiny houses, but it is often hard to find ones that are an ideal balance of form and function.
However, when I saw this Victorian-style house that was stunning on the outside and was designed for an on-the-go survivalist lifestyle, I knew I had found a tiny home on wheels that struck the perfect balance.
Designed by Maximum Extreme Tiny Homes, this unique tiny house blends elements of classic architecture with all of the necessities for living off-grid and on your own. Taking the small house movement to a whole new level, you can hitch it up to the back of your truck and hit the road in a heartbeat.

h/t: Tiny House Swoon
The designer of this home from Maximum Extreme Tiny Homes writes that he made this specifically for a woman "who was looking to have a home that not only had off-grid capability, but had a very distinct Victorian design element."
And while everything inside is just as aesthetically pleasing as the outside, it was designed for maximum utility and storage.
The designer writes, "The loft is accessed by a staircase that has ample storage for food, household items, clothing, and firearms!"
"The kitchen is large and features tons of storage, a microwave oven, refrigerator, and concrete floors."
Underneath the stainless steel sink is one of two hot water heaters for the house. And above the kitchen is the main loft for sleeping.
At the other end of the house "is another smaller loft that is specifically designated for dry food storage. The space is large enough accommodate a year-and-a-half worth of dry goods!"
The bathroom is quite large and features a unique composting toilet.
The stand-up shower features a tiled stall and a lovely glass door.
On the outside, even the roof is functional: "The roof can hold up to 300 gallons of water if the spigot is closed, but it is designed to capture the rainwater then drain it into a barrel to be purified and filtered."
And, of course, at the end of the day, you can hook this tiny house on wheels up to your truck and travel with it quite easily.
This one-of-a-kind tiny house truly combines the beauty of the Victorian style with the utilities required for on-the-go living.
