There’s nothing sadder than rifling through your fresh laundry and realizing there’s a whole pile of sad, lonely socks at the bottom.

Fortunately, there’s an easy way to help your singleton socks find their perfect match!

It’s easy as pie to put together an adorable sock board that will help all the lonely hearts in your laundry basket find their mate.

This tutorial puts everything in one place to help your socks pair up with their “solemates” once again! (Even if they stay solo, we have you covered there too.)

Materials:

  • Small board
  • Paint (color of your choosing)
  • Twine
  • Hot glue gun
  • Ribbon
  • Clothespins

Instructions:

  1. Paint board light color, and let dry. Then use darker color to paint, “Looking for my perfect match!” or similar message.
  2. Flip board over and glue piece of twine to either side of the board to make a loop. Then, glue ribbon to the top of the board and tie into a bow.
  3. Hang board from wall using the ribbon. Then, clip every singleton sock you have to the twine at the bottom, until you find “perfect matches” for all your footwear!
