These cows get by with a little help from their friends!

Tricia and Sweety came into one another’s lives when they needed friends the most.

Tricia (the black and white cow) had recently lost her best friend at the Farm Sanctuary, Sweety, and had been mourning her passing. Queenie (the white and brown cow) was being picked on by some other calves in the herd. The two cows were in need of some friends.

Though a fence separated Tricia and Queenie, the workers at Farm Sanctuary noticed that Queenie had been standing by the fence and mooing at Tricia. They decided to put the two cows together, and they became fast friends.

As you can see in this video, even though they were once sullen and low energy, they are now energetic and playful with one another. So cute!

When animals form friendships, it is just about the cutest thing. It’s not limited to same-species friendship either. This pug made pals with a horse, and now rides the horse around the farm as though he were a human. This goat and burro were separated when they were rescued, but then quickly reunited when their new owners realized how deep their friendship was.
