Thinking All Hope Was Lost, This Mom Turned Her Life Around By Hosting A Dinner For Strangers

It’s easy to judge a book by its cover, but most of the time, what we see on the outside is a facade that doesn’t reveal the whole truth.

This was the case for Truth Bomb Mom Kristina Kuzmic. Though today most tune in to Kristina’s rants for moral support and advice, this supermom was once in a place where she too needed guidance and encouragement.

Years ago, Kristina found herself at an all time low: divorced, sharing a cramped room with her two toddlers, and surviving on food stamps. The situation was so dismal that Kristina fell into a depression and became “obsessed” with her own misery.

Luckily, hard times didn’t deter Kristina. When shelters and food banks in her area wouldn’t let her volunteer with her two children in tow, the mom decided to bring the volunteering to her home. With the little money she had, Kristina hosted a dinner for people in need. That night, for the first time in a long time, she experienced her first glimmer of hope.

“By the end of the night, I had fed a ton of strangers in my tiny little apartment on my tiny little budget with my tiny little kids,” says Kristina. “Yes, life was still hard, but I no longer felt defeated.”

No matter what situation you’re in, Kristina’s story of recovery proves that things can turn around at any moment, and even the smallest things can make a huge difference. And Kristina’s advice to create change?

“If I focus on the little things that I do have and can do, I can turn it into something bigger than I ever expected,” she says.

Be sure to SHARE Kristina’s moving story with your friends who may be in a tough situation and need some hope.
