The moment a man decides to propose to his girlfriend is one of the most defining moments of his life.

He must find the perfect way to surprise her with the ring, a way that would define them as a couple and show her how well he knows her. The next biggest moment is the moment he gets down on one knee for the actual proposal! Of course, many couples want to see their engagement caught on camera — and so one must find a clever way to make it so.

Austin Urhan thought long and hard about how he would propose to his girlfriend of seven years, Sam Watson, and finally came up with a foolproof plan — but he needed the help of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office

Urhan’s driving record isn’t exactly spotless: over the years, he’s accumulated perhaps over 20 speeding tickets! Watson is well aware of the fact, and happened to be in the car when he got pulled over, yet again, for speeding.

Or, that’s what she thought!

It seemed like he was going to be arrested, when the officer made him get on his knees, but if you keep an eye on the young man’s hands, you can feel the excitement leading up to the big moment!
