Everyone has different hobbies. Some people like to play sports, others like to play instruments, or watch movies, or work out.
In the case of 18-year-old Alexander Nomernoy, a hobby means risking his life in exchange for a once-in-a-lifetime thrill. His latest achievement? Taking a selfie atop a tower so high, that once he reached the top he was above the clouds.
Nomernoy is a student from Moscow, Russia, and his extreme hobby began four years ago.
He excels at climbing towering structures and recording his experiences once he reaches the very top.
Be advised: He goes really, really high!
It’s amazing that daredevils like this exist. Nomernoy finds company in men like this guy, who climbed the top of a gigantic crane and actually walked across a narrow white pole to another crane.
Or even this professional diver, who plunged into a pool on a moving cruise ship after a 55-foot leap!
In the video below, Nomernoy and a friend have climbed atop a tower so high that, upon reaching its peak, they are literally above the clouds.
It’s striking to see him standing there, completely surrounded by gray clouds.
Using selfie sticks and, shockingly, standing at the edge of the tower’s 350-meter platform, Nomernoy and his friend document the unbelievable view they’ve obtained.
And though this is unbelievably high, the views of the land below and the sky around them are incredible.
