Toddler Climbs To The Edge Of The Diving Board And His Next Move Is An Olympic-Level Fail

Summer’s just around the corner, which means schools will soon be out, and pools will soon be packed with kids looking for a fun way to cool down.

Brayden Gipson, a toddler who lives in Dallas, Georgia, was one such kid. On June 2, the 4-year-old attended a birthday pool party with his mom, Kristy. It was your standard fun day in the sun, until Brayden tried to do a somersault off the diving board.

In a now-viral clip captured by Kristy on her cell phone, Brayden ambitiously attempted to front-flip off the board only to hit his head on it midway through a rotation. The force of the impact somehow propelled him straight into the pool.

“I think Brayden was embarrassed more than anything,” his mom told The Daily Mail, adding, “He was fine, he didn’t even cry.”

“I kept an eye on him out of the water for a minute and he went back to flipping again,” Kristy continued. “We just made sure we focused on the jump out of the diving board.”

The clip of Brayden’s diving board fail has been viewed nearly 6 million times since it was shared on Twitter last week. Feast your eyes…
