Tiona Young, a 17-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio, thought that her life was over when a fire devastated her whole apartment building. Over 20 apartments were destroyed, including Tiona’s family home.

And all this happened right before Prom Night. After the Young Family had lost so much in just one day, Tiona assumed that Prom just wouldn’t be happening for her.

Without a dress, hair products, make-up, and the works  how could the night work out?!

Luckily, some people came to Tiona’s aid.

Everything from her dress, nails, and hair and makeup work were donated by viewers of the local news station that first covered the story of the Young Family losing their home.

Tiona got dressed at her grandmother’s house on the big night and everyone came out to support her and the family.

“I’m actually excited, like I never thought everybody would come help me pull through…my nail tech, my hairstylist and everything,” Tiona explained on the big night “I would have never thought I would be going to Prom today after everything that happened.”

Thankfully, someone even donated a tux for Tiona’s date and someone else hired a luxury SUV to drive the couple to their high school, and later to the actual Prom at a local hotel.

“I’m just so grateful, y’all are going to make me cry!” the teen cried in her dress, standing in front of her grandmother’s house before the big event.
