When I was a kid, one of my favorite parts about spending time in the backyard was playing in the treehouse my dad had built.

I look back fondly on my treehouse memories. That was probably the first time in my life that I was drawn to a tiny house. But it never dawned on me that I could still enjoy a treehouse as an adult. When I saw this gorgeous tiny home built in a tree, I knew I absolutely wanted to live there.

This amazing tiny home combines the comforts of a modern house with the joy that comes from living in a tree. Set among the mountains in the Green Mountain National Forest in Lincoln, Vermont, this truly is a unique tiny house. And with a tree growing right through the living room, the inside is even cooler than the outside. I want to know how I can get one of these for myself!

This Vermont tiny house combines comfort and adventure, as it sits among four maple trees 30 feet in the air.

The house is accessible by a private ramp in a quiet and secluded part of the woods.

Despite being in a tree, the house does have heat and electricity.

The main floor features a tree trunk, a small refrigerator, a living area, and a single bed.

And to access the second floor loft, there is a convenient ladder built into the wall.

In the loft, there is a queen sized futon to sleep two more people.

Unfortunately, the tree house doesn't have space enough for a bathroom. But there is a private bathroom in the main house just 70 feet from the tiny treehouse.

One of the treehouse's most appealing features is the porch, complete with a gorgeous view.

Sitting in a rocking chair, Vermont's Mt. Abraham can be seen in the distance.
