Tiny houses are, well, tiny. In fact, what classifies a structure as a “tiny home” is that it’s under 1,000-square-feet, which is about the size of an average sandwich shop.
And when you’re working with that little space, you need to be creative. That’s why so many tiny houses have really innovative designs with crafty features, like this clever and colorful tiny house filled with surprises.
The company has numerous models you can choose from and customize that are then crafted by hand in Maxwell, Ontario and put on wheels.
The tiny house is then shipped to you “exactly how you imagined it, turn-key and stress free.”
Their most stunning model is their Collingwood design, which is chocked full of surprises and its nooks and crannies…
The Collingwood Shepherd Hut is 7.5 feet wide and 15 feet long from end to end.
The house is completely customizable and built by hand.
It is set on cast iron wheels and then placed “wherever you imagine it could be.”
The homes also includes cedar steps with handrail, cedar fascia, and cedar shake end walls.
The Collingwood’s roof, which consists of steel covered by natural western red cedar shakes, has a peculiar shape for a reason.
"We wrapped the roof all the way around the Collingwood in a fluid wooden framed structure that sheds off every kind of bad weather," they write on their website.
The interior is stunningly beautiful and the first thing that catches your eye is a lovely breakfast nook.
The booths and table can also collapse and transform into a double bed.
On the other side of the room sits a traditional-looking bunk bed that can actually bed three, being that a extra bed slides out.
The bookcase also has a built-in, fold-down desk. When folded down, the desk reveals two shelves for additional storage.
Natural pine boards hug the inside curves of the house, making it appear more like a rustic cabin.
The door is made of handpicked solid white oak board. This makes the entrance “both extremely rare and comfortable at the same time.” The top can also be opened separately from the bottom, so you can let some fresh air into the home.
The floor is made of solid pine and is slightly distressed.
According to the home’s plans, the floor also has secret storage spaces.
If you go to Güte’s website, you can also customize the color of the exterior.
The trim can also be customized.
Additionally, the interior color can be made to suit your tastes.
All in all, it is one gorgeous and brilliantly designed tiny house!
