Whenever I have a big group of friends coming over and need something to feed them, I look no further than my tried-and-true friend, nachos.
These cheesy chips are the ultimate party food: Not only are they delicious, they’re also easy to share and make! Plus, with so many different toppings to throw on my nachos, I never get bored of this Tex-Mex staple.
Finding the perfect chips-to-toppings ratio when making nachos is no easy task. (Half of the chips always seem to end up cheese-free!) But thanks to this tin can trick, every nacho on the plate is completely covered in gooey cheese and spicy toppings.
Instead of just sprinkling cheese randomly over a bed of tortilla chips and hoping for the best, this recipe strategically layers all of the best nacho toppings — including sour cream, black olives, and jalapeños — within a tin can to ensure that they are evenly distributed!
Check out the recipe and instructions below, and watch the video to see how a tin can creates the perfect nachos.
