If you’ve haven’t heard of a Spartan Race, it is an incredibly difficult test of one’s physical and mental ability.

It is a combination of an obstacle course, a marathon, and a fitness gauntlet.

I have completed a Spartan Race before, and I can attest to the fact of how difficult they are.

Which is why the accomplishment of Tiffany Gambill, the woman in the video below, is so incredible and inspiring.

Tiffany lives with a rare condition known as Friedreich’s Ataxia.

The condition attacks her body mercilessly. It is a neuromuscular ailment that slowly shuts down all the muscle in Tiffany’s body — including her heart and speech.

She is mostly confined to a wheelchair, and exerts a lot of strength just to speak.

“Life is not how I planned. It’s challenging at times,” Tiffany said.

But in an effort to combat the condition, Tiffany has worked out in a CrossFit gym for the last five years.

And it was there that she took upon the challenge of a Spartan Race.

“She’s always looking for a challenge. She looked at me and said ‘I want to do something totally amazing.’ We decided to take on the Spartan Race,” her trainer, Sonia Caldas said.

Check out how Tiffany and her team conquered the incredibly taxing race in the video below, and please SHARE it on Facebook!
