This Mom’s Rant Will Make You Think Twice About Ever Saying Certain Things To A New Mom

by Giovanna Boldrini
Giovanna was born in Rome, Italy and currently resides in South Salem, New York. In her free time, she likes to cook with her children and grandchildren.

It’s hard enough being a new mom without the inevitable barrage of comments from friends and family members who, for whatever reason, take it upon themselves to add their two cents.

That’s where hilarious mom video blogger Kristina Kuzmic comes in — she is quite simply sick of some of the things people think, for whatever reason, are appropriate to say to new moms.

In the third episode of The Truth Bomb Mom with Kristina Kuzmic, she hits on some of the worst comments that have become commonplace.

According to Kuzmic: “Tell her [the new mom] she doesn’t text or hang out as much anymore — in fact, go all out — and tell her she’s changed, that she isn’t as fun anymore.” Of course, she is being sarcastic and imploring people to be careful with their words.

A few more deal breakers: “Ask her what she does all day,” Kuzmic says. “Ask her if she’s bored. Ask her why she looks so tired when she is on maternity leave.”

Kuzmic leaves new moms with a few words of wisdom: “Listen to me carefully, it’s OK to ask for help. Asking for help doesn’t mean your inadequate, it means your really smart.”
