Noah Tingle, aka the “Bus Brother,” is currently a senior at Central High School in Louisiana. Before the 17-year-old heads off to college next year, he wants to make sure his little brother will look back at their years at home together and smile … maybe even laugh.

One day, 12-year-old Max stepped off his bus after school and saw his big brother standing there, waving his arms and welcoming him home while wearing a silly outfit.

From that day forward, Noah has continued to wait for Max at the bus stop in a totally different costume from the day before. Rain or shine, Noah stands on either the front porch or the front lawn dressed as a new character, whether it’s a firefighter, Santa Claus, T. rex, or Max’s No. 1 favorite, Chewbacca.

At first, Noah achieved his goal of being the embarrassing older brother and left Max pretty mortified — but Max has gotten so used to Noah’s antics that the costumes have become an expected part of his school day. In fact, he now looks forward to seeing how Noah will be dressed for their post-school greeting.

When their mom started posting photos of the daily ritual on Facebook, people quickly fell in love. The family has received a ton of donations from their community members and fans … all sorts of hilarious and unusual costumes.
