Last night, a gunman opened fire at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California. He killed at least 12 people and injured many others.

The bar was hosting a country-music-themed college night. In the aftermath of the incident, family members have been frantically searching for their loved ones.

Actress Tamera Mowry and her husband, journalist Adam Housley, are among those waiting for news about a family member. Their niece, Alaina Housley, was at the bar and has not yet been accounted for.

Alaina’s suite mate, Ashley, tweeted, “Pls pray for my residence hall, a handful of girls went to line dance tonight and they’re not all accounted for.” She later shared that Alaina was still missing, and she asked anyone with information to get in touch.

Tamera responded, hoping Ashley might have more information about her missing niece.

Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any update on Alaina yet. Tamera, Adam, and the rest of Alaina’s friends and family are concerned she might have been killed or injured in the shooting.

Tamera Mowry and her husband Adam Housley are frantically searching for their niece, Alaina, who hasn’t been heard from since the mass shooting at a bar in Southern California.

Alaina is a first-year student at Pepperdine University. She turned 18 in July.

Alaina’s friend and suite mate, Ashley, tweeted that girls from her residence hall had gone dancing and they weren’t all accounted for.

Two hours later, Alaina still hadn’t been found, so Ashley followed up on Twitter. Alaina’s aunt, Tamera Mowry, saw the tweet and immediately asked Ashley to get in touch.

Ashley didn’t have any more information, but she told Tamera that she’d been in touch with her husband, Adam.

According to Ashley, all the other girls were found safe — Alaina is the only one still missing.

Adam later updated his followers that they still hadn’t gotten any news on Alaina.

And seven hours after the shooting, Tamera told her followers that there was still no good news.

At this point, the entire Housley family is hoping for a miracle.

People who have never met Alaina are now praying for her. On her most recent Instagram post, strangers sent their wishes for her safe return.

One person wrote: “Positive thoughts and prayers coming your way real strong from me. I hope you’re ok and get home safely to your family as asoon as possible. 🙏🏽❤️.”

Adam begged people on Twitter to pray for his niece.

This tragedy not only affects the individuals who were at the bar, it also affects their families and the community at large.
