Crowd Gathers Outside Children’s Hospital When They Notice Window Washers Dressed As Superheroes

by Jess Catcher
Jess grew up in Oklahoma before moving to New York to become a writer. She has a cat named Agnes.

Can you imagine looking out your window to see Wolverine or the Incredible Hulk holding a squeegee to clean up all the dirt and grime?

I know that seems pretty far-fetched — but for the kids at Akron Children’s Hospital, it became an amazing reality. The window washers from American National Skyline suited up for the fifth year in a row to surprise the young patients.

Obviously, the workers weren’t really Wonder Woman or Spider-Man, but they were close enough to put a huge smile on each kiddo’s face when they were spotted dangling in the air outside the windows.

As you can see in the video below, their families gathered in the parking lot and around the building, and were just as delighted. They pulled out their phones to capture the incredible act of kindness.

I would totally do the same if I looked up to see the comic book characters rinsing off the windows!

You have to admit that even if the costumes don’t quite measure up to the fancy versions we see on the actors who play these roles on the big screen, it’s still such an incredibly sweet gesture.

Plus, you can’t deny the inspirational effect posing for photos and smiling up at a favorite superhero can have on a brave youngster.

Take a look and be sure to SHARE the awesome clip with your friends and family!
