Due to a lack of closet space, storage is a huge issue in my household. I have to resort to using tons of bins.

And if you’re like me, you want your storage bins to blend into the rooms they’re in — not stick out like a sore thumb!

One mom named Kathryn has some easy and super-cheap ways to transform a diaper box and dollar store bins, and they are both no-sew!

I will never look at cardboard boxes the same way again after watching her easy, DIY video. The best part is that you only need a handful of items to make showroom-ready bins on a budget.

The box-storage bins couldn’t be easier to make.

In the video, Kathryn shows you how simple it is to transform any type of cardboard box into a stylish bin. She starts by cutting off the lips of the box and measuring the sides to fit the right fabric length.

After everything is measured, Kathryn places the bin on the fabric and uses spray adhesive to adhere the colorful print to the box. To bring it all together, she cuts one more piece of fabric to go inside the box, fold over, and voila! No one will ever know what’s really under that fabric!

To make the dollar store baskets, Kathryn only uses jute twine, locker-style bins, and — get this — pillowcases! All of which can be found at your local dollar store.

To cover the boring, cheap-looking white plastic, she hot-glues the twine over it for a farmhouse look! After that, she turns the pillowcase inside out, so the pattern will face the outside after it’s been folded over the sides of the bin.
