Jennifer Scollin had been feeling pains in her stomach for about a month. She thought she had a terrible stomach bug and decided to call 911 when the pain became too much.

An ambulance arrived at her Seymour, Connecticut, home. As soon as she got in the vehicle, the unthinkable happened.

“It was a blur, all I know is I pushed twice and they were like, ‘You had a baby boy,'” Jennifer told CBS in a 2014 interview.

Jennifer had given birth to a newborn, weighing 9 lbs., 3 oz., but she had no idea she was even carrying him in the first place.

“How could you not know you have this little thing inside you from week after week — this right here?” Jennifer said. “I believe it now.”

Jennifer said she’d had no pregnancy symptoms. She didn’t gain any weight and she had a normal menstrual cycle until the birth.

Moreover, Jennifer has a 4-year-old daughter and had none of the symptoms she’d experienced while pregnant with her.

However, CBS interviewed Dr. Angela Bianco, who said that some women often experience pregnancy denial. This occurs when a woman willfully chooses to believe her pregnancy symptoms are caused by something else or aren’t happening at all.

Do you think it is possible to get pregnant and not experience any symptoms for nine months?
