As a huge fan of Family Feud, I love when things get a little crazy on the show — and I’m not just talking about Steve Harvey’s silly faces or the contestants’ wild answers!

After the Zoet family won the face-off against the Noyola family on a September 2017 episode of the game show, host Steve immediately walked over to Nancy, the matriarch of the group, to chat with her.

That’s when Nancy mentioned that she does “a little mashed potato in the kitchen,” referring to the popular dance craze from the 1960s.

“You do the mashed potato?” Steve asked her. “Can you do it?” Then he asked her to teach him the steps, since he was unsure about them.

Nancy came around to the front of the stage where Steve was standing and the entire audience started to cheer for her. Then, the music started playing and Nancy began to boogie!

Steve watched from the sideline for a few beats to see how the mashed potato is done, then he joined right in.

Once he started getting his groove on, the whole audience completely lost it watching the pair dance together.

“Watch yourself, Miss Nancy,” Steve told the contestant after the pair had finished dancing. “Oh lord, Miss Nancy, you ain’t bad girl!”
