Woman Complains Of Terrible Headache After Napping Outside, Then Doctors Find Spider In Her Ear

A woman in India is probably regretting her decision to take a nap outside.

After what was supposed to be a relaxing outdoor nap, the woman woke up with a bad headache. It was so bad that her husband drove her to the hospital to ensure everything was OK.

The good news was that the woman’s headache was not a brain tumor, an aneurysm, or any of the other scary possibilities that I fear with every bad headache.

The bad news is that the headache was caused by a spider. In her ear.

Somehow, a spider had climbed into her ear while she napped. Not only was the spider hanging out in her ear, it had also made itself right at home by spinning a web within her ear canal.

The doctors were able to remove the spider pretty easily and calmly, but I can only imagine how terrifying and grossed out this poor woman must have felt. I don’t know if she’ll ever be able to fall asleep anywhere again, especially outside.

I get headaches pretty often, but I never imagined that one could have been caused by a spider inside me. Just the thought of it makes my skin crawl, but I’m glad that this woman ended up OK!
