If you’re anything like me, then you’re constantly on the lookout for amazing food hacks that will make food prep even easier.
So when I saw this fast and easy way to soften a cold stick of butter, I knew that it would quickly become one of my favorite hacks.
There’s nothing quite as delicious as the combination of bread and butter, but it’s important that the butter is just soft enough to evenly spread. Get it wrong and the bread breaks and the butter ends up in a cold, hard clump in the middle. This quick trick makes soft butter in mere minutes, and makes spreading butter, well… like butter!
All you need for this awesome trick is a tall glass, warm water and cold stick of butter.
The first step is placing a glass of water in the microwave for 60 seconds — but then dump out the water and use the warm glass for the rest. Watch the tutorial below for the step-by-step directions. This is seriously so easy and effective.
This is so simple that I can’t believe I didn’t know about it before. Please SHARE this quick and easy food hack with your friends on Facebook!
