Any time you visit a big, bustling city, you can expect to have a few interesting encounters with some of its local residents.

My hometown of New York City gets countless tourists from all over the world every single day. I always thought the Big Apple gets a bad reputation for having rude, unhelpful residents, but the truth is that with so many out-of-towners walking the streets, there is no doubt a few of them will run into some of the city’s “bad apples.” However, there are a lot of good people out there, too. I think most New Yorkers are just misunderstood, because we can be so impatient…and if you’ve ever travelled around the city, you should understand why!

In the following video, we see a prank/social experiment that puts New York City subway riders through a true test of kindness. After a recent photo of a man comforting a disabled stranger on a bus in Canada went viral, it had me wondering whether most people would have done the same thing in a similar situation. The OCK TV video shows two young men pretending to fall asleep on random commuters hustling around the city.

Unsurprisingly, most people were not thrilled to have random strangers napping on top of them, but some of their reactions just may surprise you!
