Stage moms have a tendency to be emotionally invested in their kids’ activities and act overly aggressive, even more so than their children. Thanks to social media, viewers are often treated to shocking clips of stage moms in action. But what happens when other parents decide to step in, in the attempt to get those moms to tone it down for the sake of everyone’s sanity?

In 2015, a family from St. Charles, Illinois, uploaded a now-viral video recorded at a kid’s indoor soccer game. The man who uploaded the clip says his daughter’s team took a strong lead from the start.

When the score hit 8-0, the coach asked the players on the winning team to back off a little bit, for the sake of sportsmanship. After all, it was just a recreational match.

This was the first game of the season, so the uploader wasn’t familiar yet with any of the other parents in the stands.

That’s when “Momzilla” entered the picture. The mother seated in front of him was being very loud the entire game. Not only was she screaming at her kid and shouting instructions, but she was also doing it to everyone else’s kids! Apparently, she just didn’t understand or agree with the coach telling the winning team to ease up.

“I could see that the other parents in the stands were getting more visibly agitated (so was I), so sensing a conflict was about to happen, I began filming,” he said.

Frustrated with her constant screaming and sideline coaching from behind the protective glass, a heated confrontation ensued.
