Man Proposes To Girlfriend Of 7 Years, But Reveals 2nd Ring To Ask Her Sister To Be His ‘BFF’

Will Seaton, 25, and Ashley Schaus, 23, have been dating for seven amazing years.

Because they’ve been dating for so long, it’s only natural that Ashley and Will became close with one another’s families. In particular, Will is very close to Ashely’s 15-year-old sister Hannah.

Hannah has Down syndrome and diabetes. She and Ashley are best friends, and Ashley had always told will that if he ever married her he’d actually be marrying both of them, as Hannah will likely always rely on her sister’s love and care.

Ashley knew Will was OK with that reality, but she had no idea that he would really take it to heart.

When Will dropped to one knee to ask Ashley to marry him, she was overwhelmed with happiness. But what happened next was even more heartwarming.

After Ashley said yes, Will took out a second ring. He turned to Hannah and asked her to be his “Best Friend Forever.”

Ashley couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She told KTLA, “This gesture blew me away. [Hannah] was so happy, and all I could think about was how special this was for her.”

Hannah will of course be part of the wedding in October, sharing “best friend vows” with Will.
