Many plastic surgeons are seeing an increase in patients who want to resemble Meghan Markle.

Tanya Ricardo of Houston, Texas, is a 30-year-old single mom.

After hitting puberty, Tanya says she spent more than 10 years waiting for her “womanly” body to develop.

Tanya says she became accustomed to rude comments and judgments over her body type, from being told to “eat a cheeseburger” to people assuming she had an eating disorder.

After giving birth to her son, Tanya just didn’t feel as feminine or sexy as she hoped. “I was extremely self-conscious with what I wore, I didn’t like showing my legs – I just wasn’t happy with what I saw in the mirror,” she told Caters News.

Then one day, the Southern mom had an idea. Not only is Tanya a die-hard fan of Meghan Markle, but she also realized she and the famed Duchess of Sussex shared some basic physical traits, like dark hair and brown eyes.

“I want what she has that I don’t,” she told Inside Edition. Tanya wanted a curvier figure and flatter stomach, so she decided to go under the knife.

Her family said she was crazy, but their opinions didn’t stop her. The six-hour procedure, which cost Tanya approximately $30,000, included fat grafts, injections, liposuction under her cheeks and chin, breast augmentation, and lip fillers. Doctors also transferred some of the extra baby fat in her stomach from her pregnancy into her backside.

Three weeks later, Inside Edition filmed the moment Tanya revealed her new look to her family and friends…
