Simon Cowell has accomplished a lot in the entertainment business, both as a producer and as one of the best known talent judges on Earth.

But now it looks like he’s setting his sights on a new job title: matchmaker!

The famous producer adorably embarrassed his young son during an episode of America’s Got Talent. Simon called 4-year-old Eric, his first child with partner Lauren Silverman, up to the judges’ table and told him, “Your girlfriend is singing next. You are actually gonna help me judge this one.”

The “girlfriend” Simon was referring to is 5-year-old singer Sophie Fatu, the youngest contestant in the history of the show.

During her first audition, Simon had the room laughing and cheering by telling her, “I want you to date my son.”

Then, to keep the romance alive, Sophie was asked if she had a boyfriend during a prerecorded interview. “Simon’s son,” she muttered with a smile. “He just makes my heart melt!”

But while Sophie was clearly all about Eric, the 4-year-old boy played it cool. After Simon continued to push the issue by telling Sophie, “Somebody has a bit of a crush on you. My son, Eric,” the love-struck youngster could be seen hiding his face and shaking his head. It’s the type of embarrassment only a parent can cause!
