When was the last time you listened to someone read a Dr. Seuss book?

Unless you’re a teacher or have young family members, it’s probably been a while. But that’s about to change.

This reading of Dr. Seuss’ famous Hop on Pop is probably like nothing you’ve ever heard before — and that’s because Shemar Moore is reading it.

In the video below, the actor (formerly of The Young and the Restless, but perhaps best known for his roles on Criminal Minds and now S.W.A.T.) says he doesn’t really know how to read a story. Judging by his performance, though, he definitely does.

Because Shemar doesn’t have kids yet, he says he decided to read the book “for grown women.”

You might not think that someone could make a Dr. Seuss book sexy, but if anyone can do it, it’s Shemar.

So, as Shemar himself says, “get comfortable, prop up the pillows,” and listen up. You’re definitely going to want to watch this one.

This is the kind of thing that has to be seen to be believed, so check out the video below to hear Shemar read Hop on Pop. Then, don’t forget to SHARE this incredible reading with your friends on Facebook!
