If you hate how foggy your bathroom mirror gets when you shower, you might be surprised to know the solution is probably already sitting in your tub!

While visiting The Rachael Ray Show, professional organizer Peter Walsh revealed his incredibly easy hack for keeping the moisture from clouding up a mirror.

I bet you never knew how handy shaving cream could be in the bathroom for more than just getting rid of beards — I know I didn’t!

He starts by razzing Rachael after asking her to put “a bit” of the shaving cream into a bowl and she squeezes out a huge mound of foam. Of course, she has good humor about it too, hilariously explaining, “I come from hairy people,” and laughs at herself for “messing up” the segment.

I have to admit, it was a little strange to watch Peter smear the product over a section of the mirror, but I couldn’t believe it when it wiped off completely clean, leaving behind sparkling glass.

He also explains how the simple ingredients within shaving cream help to create a filmy layer that prevents fog from building up, no matter how long you enjoy your nice, hot shower.

Take a look to see their hilarious banter and exactly how the trick works.
