If you’re anything like me, you’re always very wary about the sharks that might be lurking deep in the ocean (or not so deep).

Although most times, we’re lucky enough to enjoy the ocean without interference from these creatures — there, of course, have been incidents where humans have been bitten by sharks.

In the video you’re about to see below, one of those unlucky moments could have happened. A group of people being pulled on inflatable water toys behind a boat were clueless to the fact that there were two great white sharks swimming so close to them.

Thankfully, the lifeguard was brave enough to paddle out to them and warn them.

An onlooker, Barry Curtis, captured the heart-stopping moment with his drone.

While it must have been pretty scary for the lifeguard, he still bravely succeeded in warning everyone about the lurking creatures.

After alerting the group of bystanders about what was going on, everyone made it safely onto the boat and eventually back to shore.

While this story had a happy ending, the Coast Guard in Orange County posted new warnings about the serious shark sightings near the shore. This is a great reminder to always be cautious when going to the beach and lookout for any official warnings by the Coast Guard.
