Photo Of Elderly Couple Is Shared 1 Million Times After Husband Wears Funny Hat In Marathon

by Jess Catcher
Jess grew up in Oklahoma before moving to New York to become a writer. She has a cat named Agnes.

If you’re looking for a couple that proves true love really can last, look no further than Bob and Betty Kinder.

After 60 years of marriage, they certainly know a thing or two about keeping that spark alive between them. Now, both in their eighties, the elderly couple has spilled their best advice to the news crew at KFOR.

“Being sure to duck when the frying pan’s thrown at ya,” Bob chuckled in the clip below before adding, “No, you just gotta keep saying ‘I love ya’ all the time.”

The couple wasn’t able to have children, but they never let that get them down. Instead, they focused on making as many amazing memories together as possible.

But they didn’t bother taking many snapshots along the way.

Ironically, it’s a recent photo of Bob and Betty that’s put them in the limelight, after a photographer snapped a candid pic of the pair walking in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon.

It wasn’t their age that impressed everyone when they noticed the photo posted to the marathon’s Facebook page. Instead, it was Bob’s unique sense of style — more specifically, the silly message written across the front of his hat.

Take a look to see why Betty described her husband as, “pretty much a tease.”

And don’t forget to SHARE the couple’s beautiful relationship and delightful sense of humor with your friends!
