Sarah Jessica Parker celebrated the launch of her first permant retail location in Manhattan’s Seaport District and spent the day in the shop interacting with fans and customers. The store exclusively sells SJP Collection shoes, and Sarah says she’s in the shop two to three days a week, meaning there’s a chance Carrie Bradshaw herself could do your shoe fitting the next time you’re in the store.
The shoe’s prices range from $250 to $600, but the real draw is some one-on-one time with the fashion icon. Sarah told Entertainment Tonight that if you come into the shop and she’s there, she’ll make sure to find you the perfect pair of heels — you just have to do one thing.
“You have to put your phone down,” Sarah explained. “We have to talk, I have to know who you are, where are you from, what are you doing, why do you want these, what do you need versus what do you want. And the minute people put their phones down, a whole world opens up, for both of us.”
