Cat Breaks Into Neighbors’ Homes Every Day, But Pops Up In A Different Place Each Time

by Jess Butler
Jess is a curly-haired Jersey girl who adores penguins and watches the worst reality shows on TV.

Romeo the cat may look like your average feline, but he’s much sneakier than you think.

Things weren’t always this way, though.

When Lisa Marie McKenzie received Romeo as a Mother’s Day gift two years ago, she was overjoyed.

Soon after, however, she learned that pets weren’t allowed in her apartment. She faced the possibility of giving away her beloved cat — until a group of caring neighbors stepped in.

Lisa Marie’s neighbors decided to put an open-door policy in place for Romeo. He was allowed to come and go as he pleased just so Lisa Marie could continue keeping her pet.

In the video below, posted on May 23, 2017, Lisa Marie and her neighbors mention the peculiar places Romeo pops up in after sneaking into their homes.

A woman named Cara Neel lists places that Romeo appears, including: “on top of my refrigerator, under my kitchen table at about 2 in the morning.”

“You might wake up and Romeo might be in your bed sleeping or trying to steal your toast in the morning,” adds Lisa Marie.

In addition, Romeo can be found sunbathing, hiding in vases, and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.

Luckily, Lisa Marie is moving to a home where she can house Romeo herself, but the adorable cat is always welcome in this neighborhood.

Check out Romeo’s strangest hiding spots in the footage provided by KTLA below, and please SHARE if you’re glad these neighbors are so welcoming!
