4 Home Decorating Hacks That Don’t Involve A Long-Term Commitment

One of the most daunting things about taking on a home renovation or a new DIY project is that the results can often feel very permanent or long-term.

And for someone like me who can be indecisive (and who also happens to rent a home as opposed to owning), I much prefer projects that don’t involve a longer commitment, like new bathroom flooring or elaborate ceiling lights do.

So when I saw these four easy decorating hacks from Rachael Ray, I knew I’d have to consider trying them in my own home.

None of these are permanent, and each can easily be undone if you happen to be renting an apartment and you move out, or if you simply change your mind.

These DIY experts reveal how to spruce up an ordinary set of steps, how to add some much-needed flair to your kitchen, how to create beautiful bathroom or kitchen tiling, and how to turn an ordinary light switch into a mini piece of art.

And in addition to being easy to do, each of these decorating ideas is quite inexpensive, proving that your home can get an upgrade without breaking the bank.

Which of these hacks will you be trying yourself? Do you have any other non-permanent decorating ideas? Let us know in the comments.
