Mom Is Left With Open Hole In Her Temple After Stylist Finds Red Spot That Ends Up Being Cancer

In order to be healthy, we have to listen to what our bodies are trying to tell us. Anything that seems “off,” like a blemish or smell, can signal a problem that you and your doctor must address.

And as one mom can attest, even the smallest clue can be a symptom of something deadly.

Forty-year-old Keely Jones ignored her beautician’s concerns about a red blemish on her temple, thinking that it wasn’t cause for concern.

But in retrospect, Keely admits that it was uncharacteristic. Her skin is normally blemish-free. She doesn’t spend a ton of time in the sun and wears a hat when she does. She hadn’t been in a tanning bed since she was a teenager.

Every time she picked at the red spot, it would just scab over.

Then, two months later, she went to see a dermatologist. The doctor revealed that the growth was cancer — basal cell carcinoma — which can leave a person extremely disfigured if left untreated.

Treatments for the cancer left Keely with a huge, gaping hole in her temple. It needed to be closed with over 20 stitches.

Now, the mom wants to warn others that skin cancer can strike anyone at any time, whether or not you go out in the sun!

Please SHARE if you want to spread Keely’s warning to friends and family so that they can keep an eye out for weird red spots and bumps on their skin!
