Woman Calls For Help When She Sees Snake Under Car Hood, So Stranger Reaches In To Save The Day

by Jess Catcher
Jess grew up in Oklahoma before moving to New York to become a writer. She has a cat named Agnes.

To quote Harrison Ford in his iconic role as Indiana Jones, “Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?”

Luckily for one woman who called for help with a slithery situation, she at least only had to deal with one of the terrifying critters, who made himself right at home underneath her car’s hood.

However, she probably wished he had picked a better time to announce his presence — popping his tiny head up onto her windshield wipers while she was still out driving on the road was understandably jarring!

I’m honestly impressed she managed to avoid having an accident when she saw the snake say hello. I don’t think I would have nearly the same amount of composure in her shoes.

After making it home, she hoped he would scurry away overnight, but when she saw him still curled up under the hood in the morning, she knew she needed extra help.

Max from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers was quick to survey the situation and realized he wouldn’t be able to lift the hood up quite enough to reach in with his hands and remove the red-bellied black snake.

In the video below, he relies on a long stick to help get the job done.

Take a look to see how the sneaky little guy reacts to being evicted from his new home.
