Man Finds A Creative Way To Rescue A Litter Of Puppies In One Fell Swoop

The floods in Louisiana have been called one of the worst natural disasters in the United States since Hurricane Sandy, according to the Red Cross.

In just a matter of hours, many inches of rain fell on the area, and swept away cars, homes, and even took lives.

People who have stalled to vacate their homes are now changing their tune, and abandoning their earthly possessions in order to save their lives and the lives of the ones they love.

One man was relieved beyond compare when his dog, Sadie, was returned to him after the exhausted pup was ready to give up and stop treading water to stay afloat.

But what happens when you don’t just have one or two, or even three dogs to look after? What do you do when you have to mobilize a whole litter of not just your puppies, but your neighbor’s as well?

Just ask this man, who was caught on camera using a very creative way to transport the tiny dogs to his car, which was miraculously still in working condition, despite the rising waters.

Of all things, he used an air mattress, and piled all the dogs onto it, floating it from his door to the backseat of his car. And, one by one, he put them in the backseat as quickly as he could.

It’s true: It takes being a pet parent to instinctively know how to save your little ones!
