August 31 will mark the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.

In memory of her and in celebration of all that she achieved before her life was tragically cut short, her brother Charles has released never-before-seen footage of her as a child.

Clips of the videos in the footage below show Princess Diana as a child playing with her brother, riding her bike, filling up a pool, and dancing.

Charles released the home movies of his sister for The Story of Diana, a two-part special airing on ABC August 9, 2017.

“There’s something very poignant about those home movies because, of course, when she got older, she sort of had this dance of death with the media,” says Jess Cagle, People magazine’s editor in chief and executive producer of the series, “and those home movies take on a very, very poignant and very resonant and sort of prescient sort of quality.”

Along with this rare peek inside Princess Diana’s life, Buckingham Palace has also shared new intimate photos of her with her sons, William and Harry. The palace has also opened up a display of her desk and other items from her private collection that were hand-picked by her sons.

Princes William and Harry have also shared private memories and photos of their mother in the documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy. The brothers candidly talk about the final phone call they had with her at just 15 and 12 years old.
