It’s hard to believe that it’s been two whole years since Britain’s royal family welcomed their youngest member, HRH Princess Charlotte.
The adorable tot is the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, better known as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
She’s ringing in her second birthday on May 2, 2017, and Kensington Palace has released a new official photo on their Twitter account for the occasion!
The photo, snapped by Kate Middleton herself, is a display of the royal family’s signature refined and classic style.
She’s just a bit behind big brother George, who will turn 4 at the end of July.
Princess Charlotte is currently fourth in line for the throne. She’s the spitting image of her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who is Britain’s current monarch.
Her grandmother, Diana, Princess of Wales, tragically passed away before Charlotte and her big brother were born.
Artists have put together a stunning photo imagining what Diana and Charlotte’s first meeting would have looked like. We just know that, if her grandmother were here today, she would be so proud of her two splendid grandkids!
