It’s official! Prince Harry is a taken man.

Only a few hours after the announcement from Kensington Palace that the red-haired prince is set to marry American actress Meghan Markle, the pair posed for their first photos as an engaged couple.

The two appeared together at Kensington Palace the afternoon of November 27, 2017.

During the brief photo-call appearance, the two posed for official engagement pictures and recorded a television interview, which is set to air later today.

According to People, the photo call was held in the Sunken Gardens, one of Princess Diana’s favorite places.

In the video below, you can hear the two chatting and laughing with each other, as well as with photographers and well-wishers.

When press asked how they felt, Prince Harry said they were “thrilled” and joked that they were “very glad it’s not raining.” Meghan added that she was “so happy.”

The two also promised that details about the proposal would come later, but Prince Harry confirmed that “of course” it was romantic when asked (“very” romantic, according to Meghan). When asked when he knew Meghan was the one, the beaming Prince responded that it was the very first time they met.

Perhaps the highlight of the short appearance was the debut of Meghan’s gorgeous diamond engagement ring. People reports that the ring was designed by Prince Harry himself. It features a center stone from Botswana, with two additional diamonds from the late Princess Diana’s collection.

Check out the gorgeous ring up close in the video below, and don’t forget to SHARE this story in honor of the happy couple!
