Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their first public appearance in 2020! After the couple took a six-week hiatus to spend time together as a family, the couple has emerged, and they’re positively glowing.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are back in London. The couple visited the Canada House next to Trafalgar Square. There, they greeted fans outside before venturing in to visit with the high commissioner of Canada, Janice Charette.
Meghan sported a chic winter look. The Duchess of Sussex wore a brown turtleneck sweater, a darker brown satin skirt, and brown velvet pumps. She completed the look with a tan peacoat. Harry wore a dark blue suit with a white button-down shirt and blue tie.
The couple wanted to visit Canada House to express their gratitude toward the Canadian people for their hospitality and support. The couple spent their downtime in the country, where Meghan had lived prior to marrying Harry. The couple reportedly spent the holidays on Vancouver Island. During their time there, “they were able to recharge and enjoy family time. It was breathtaking for them,” a source revealed.
The couple visited the Canadian Gallery at Canada House. They took in a special exhibition by indigenous Canadian artist Skawennati. They also visited with the high commission team to support the partnership between Canada and the UK.
The public outing came after a private one earlier that morning. The couple visited the Hubb Community Kitchen, where last year Meghan bonded with the women members during her pregnancy. She even did a cookbook collaboration with the organization, one of her proudest projects of 2018.
