For a show that’s been on the air for over 40 years, you’d think the Price Is Right has seen it all. But something amazing happened on the September 22, 2017, episode of the iconic game show.

If you’re familiar with the show, during the Showcase Showdown, the final three contestants spin the Big Wheel to land as close to a dollar as they can so they can be one of two to move on to the Showcase.

On this particular episode, there was a bonus. If a player spun $1, they would win $10,000. Well, not only did this happen once on the episode, it happened one after another totaling $80,000 in winning prize money before the contestants even got to the big Showdown.

One player named Wilbert landed on 25 cents, and then spun to perfectly land on 75 cents and win $10,000. The next contestant spun and landed on the $1 and won herself $10,000.

When the third contestant spun, he landed on 85 cents — and it seemed almost impossible that he would land on the green 15 cent spot. “Come on baby,” host Drew Carey said as the Big Wheel started to slow down closer and closer to the 15-cent spot. “Are you kidding me?” Turns out, the player landed on the correct spot and won.

All three of the players jumped up and down together before they received a bonus spin on the Big Wheel. “If you land on the five or 15, you get another $10,000,” Drew told them. “If you land on the $1, I’ll give you $25,000!”

Wilbert was up first and spun the Big Wheel. Miraculously, he landed on the $1 to bring his winnings up to $35,000! The next player repeated the same winnings and earned herself an extra $25,000.
