Most people imagine that when they finally decide to have kids, getting pregnant will be a breeze. For some, this is the case, but for many, it’s not.

Unfortunately, lots couples have to deal with the struggle of infertility.

Finding out that getting pregnant is going to be challenging is difficult, and dealing with infertility can be emotionally draining — like Alexis and Gabe know, it can be devastating to find out you’re infertile.

Many people — like the Walker couple — turn to infertility treatments, while others just keep trying and hope that it will happen for them some day.

Heather of FibroFightingBarbie and her husband had been trying to get pregnant for three and a half years, but it just wasn’t happening for them.

They decided to hope for the best and keep trying, but they were also saving up for intrauterine insemination.

When Heather started having strange dreams out of nowhere, she didn’t tell her husband — but a week later she went to a fertility clinic and took a pregnancy test.

To her surprise, she was pregnant! After three and a half years, Heather and her husband had conceived naturally — something Heather calls a “miracle.”
