It’s not uncommon for Carol Jordan’s two black Labrador retrievers, Bull and Bear Jordan, to get themselves into trouble.
The pair of pooches have been guilty of crimes like digging up the yard and destroying a tractor. But their latest hijinks are getting all the attention.
As a USPS driver went to deliver a package at Carol’s door in Isle of Wight, Virginia, the dogs snuck into the mail truck and stole the worker’s lunch. In a note scribbled on the package receipt, the driver explained what happened.
“Hey! I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck,” the note read.
“They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies, just FYI!”
Carol posted a photo of the note to Facebook along with a picture of her mischievous pups, Bull and Bear, looking especially guilty.
But the story, now viral, didn’t end there. The postal worker was surprised to receive something in return, courtesy of Carol and her sneaky canines. The adorable apology note “from” Bull and Bear reads in part: “We’re sorry we ate your lunch! Thank you for sharing.” The rest of it is cuter than you can even imagine. Dog-shaming at its cutest.
